If you have not provided us with your concession card details, you can do so via our website here.  Alternatively, you can call us on 1300 196 673 (Monday to Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm AEST).

Medical Cooling and Heating Concession

If you live in Tasmania, you may also be eligible for the Medical Cooling and Heating Concession.
This is a separate concession that helps with energy costs related to temperature control in your home. The medical cooling and heating concession is available to customers who hold a Pensioner Concession Card (PCC) or Health Care Card (HCC) and who have, or who live with a person suffering from one of the core medical conditions OR meets at least one primary AND one secondary qualifying condition. The temperature control must relate to life support purposes only and requires certification from a medical practitioner.

If this applies to you, please click here to access the Medical Cooling and Heating Concession application.

Life Support Concession

If you or someone living at your property uses approved life support equipment, you may be eligible for the Life Support Concession. This concession helps with electricity costs related to running life support systems in the home. You do not need to hold a Pensioner Concession Card (PCC) or Health Care Card (HCC) to apply. If you have more than one life support device, you may be able to claim for each eligible device. The application requires certification from a medical practitioner.
