At PowerHub, the way we apply rebates or concessions differs depending on what State or Territory the customer lives in and which utilities the customer uses.
QLD Electricity Customers
If you are an eligible QLD electricity customer , your concession will be applied directly to your electricity bill. If you have not provided us with your concession card details during your sign-up process, you can do so via our website here.
Alternatively, you can call our call centre on 1300 196 673
You can find more information via the following link:
QLD Department of Communities, Disability Services & Seniors
QLD Bulk Hot Water Customers
Unfortunately, our QLD bulk hot water customers are not eligible for a concession. The QLD Department of Communities, Disability Services & Seniors responsible for the rebates in QLD does not apply rebates to Serviced Bulk Hot Water. This is a QLD Department of Communities, Disability Services & Seniors policy.
NSW Electricity Customers
For eligible NSW electricity customers, the electricity rebate is paid directly into the customer’s bank account every financial year by Service NSW. For more information and how to apply online, click on the following link: Low Income Household Rebate (on supply customers)
Alternatively, you can download and print a paper application form via the following link. You must include a copy of your electricity bill with the application that you post to Low Income Household Rebate PO Box 435 – Parramatta NSW 2124

SA Electricity Customers
Eligible South Australians on low or fixed incomes can apply for help with the cost of energy bills for their principal place of residence. The concession will be applied directly to the electricity bill.
After you sign up with PowerHub you should:
- update your address details with Centrelink or DVA
- wait until you have received your first electricity bill from PowerHub at your new address before contacting ConcessionsSA
